Higher ground is a slamming tune. I love the groove and the way you have to really ‘dig’ in to make it feel good. As I’ve mentioned before, I do find shuffles fairly difficult to play. By now, I can lay down the groove fairly well but it’s usually, how to chuck in meaningful fills in the style that gets me. Higher ground has some hits that often get played live too.
